The Topping Off Ceremony for University Club Tower is set for June 5, 2006, at 3:30 pm in Juneau Park, directly across Prospect Avenue from the tower. The ceremony is by invitation only. University Club Tower is a 53-unit condominium building with unparalleled amenities in Milwaukee including an interior connection to the University Club, an 8,000 square feet health club with three-lane lap pool and spa services, a 17,000 square feet private garden, room service from the University Club, and wine-tasting, community, and media rooms. University Club Tower is the tallest residential building and the third-tallest building in Wisconsin.

J. H. Findorff and Son, Inc. is the general contractor for the construction of the tower and has reached the pinnacle of the building, marking the celebration of this Topping Off Ceremony. Findorff deserves accolades for its fine management of the construction. The Topping Off Ceremony includes the hoisting of a beam to be placed at the highest structural point on the building. A tree is hoisted atop the beam to celebrate reaching this point without loss of life or serious injury to the workers and to signify good luck and prosperity in the future.

The tower is being developed by University Club Tower LLC that includes members, Peter L. Mahler, Barry R. Mandel, Blaine E. Rieke, and Christopher J. Smocke with Mandel Group, Inc. as the manager. The members are pleased with the progress of sales as 42 of the 53 condominiums have been sold.

The lead designer for University Club Tower is Peter Ellis from the Chicago office of Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill LLP.
